Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Director of HR and appropriate hiring managers to generate, maintain and update job duties and skills needed to fill open positions. 
  • Sources candidates through search engines, career websites, outside agencies, networks, career fairs, and other avenues. 
  • Pre-screens and identifies qualified candidates; schedules, coordinates and participates in interviews.
  • Updates and distributes weekly Status Communication for hiring managers and designated members of management.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and agreements with recruiters, colleges, agencies, and various sources for high-quality candidates.
  • Travel to in and out of state colleges to perform job fairs. 
  • Researches, analyzes, and prepares Recruiting Statistics/Measurements as well as other reporting requests.
  • Pre-screens, establishes and oversees contracts for Temporary Employment Agencies for Denver and other supported locations.  
  • Coordinates internal paperwork and communication needed for on-boarding.  Performs in-person New Hire Orientations.  Establishes and maintains relationships with new hires through initial employment period including thirty-day follow up meeting. 
  • Coordinates Employee Termination process including internal paperwork and communication for Denver and other Company locations as needed.
  • Responsible for performing audits of weekly and semi-monthly Payroll Processing; serves as primary back-up for processing payroll during payroll administrator’s absence. 
  • Oversees Corporate Travel Program including communicating with travelers on programs offered, acting as primary contact with corporate travel agency, and overseeing accounts with airlines and rental car agencies.
  • Oversees and coordinates DOT Random Drug Testing Program.
  • Maintains and performs annual audits of MVR Reports.  Performs annual re-testing as required. 
  • Coordinates enrollment and travel for Employee Training as needed.


  • 3-5 years experience in Recruiting and Staffing
  • Bachelors degree
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, internet search engines, recruiting software
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
